{"id":4151,"date":"2025-11-06T13:00:47","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T12:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gecodor.it\/?p=4151"},"modified":"2025-11-06T17:34:06","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T16:34:06","slug":"from-the-wind-comes-energy-but-also-responsibility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gecodor.it\/en\/news-en\/from-the-wind-comes-energy-but-also-responsibility\/","title":{"rendered":"From the wind comes energy, but also responsibility"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"4151\" class=\"elementor elementor-4151 elementor-4142\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-927f3dd e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"927f3dd\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53e27ca elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"53e27ca\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>Gecodor continues noise monitoring campaign for its wind projects<\/em><\/p><p><strong>Gecodor<\/strong> carries out a series of <strong>background noise measurement campaigns<\/strong> in the areas affected by its <strong>wind projects<\/strong>, with the aim of ensuring maximum protection of public health and the environment, while complying with current noise pollution regulations.<\/p><p> <\/p><p><em>A commitment to land protection<\/em><\/p><p>The activities are conducted in <strong>accordance with the Ministerial Decree June 1, 2022<\/strong> &#8211; <em>&#8220;Determination of criteria for the measurement of noise emitted by wind power plants and the containment of related noise pollution&#8221;<\/em> (published in Official Gazette No. 139 of June 16, 2022).<br>The decree defines in a timely manner <strong>the measurement methodologies, operating conditions and evaluation criteria<\/strong> necessary to determine the noise impact of wind power plants, ensuring alignment with the provisions of the  <strong>Framework Law on Noise Pollution no. 447\/1995<\/strong>  and subsequent implementing decrees.<\/p><p> <\/p><p><em>Technologies and methodologies adopted<\/em><\/p><p>The monitoring campaigns initiated by Gecodor involve the use of <strong>class 1<\/strong> sound level meters for the detection of sound levels and <strong>professional anemometers<\/strong> for the measurement of wind speed and direction.<br>The measurements are carried out <strong>continuously and simultaneously<\/strong>, under different meteorological conditions, in order to ensure a comprehensive analysis of <strong>pre-existing background noise<\/strong> and all context parameters.<\/p><p>In accordance with<strong>Art. 4 of M.D. 1\/06\/2022<\/strong>, <strong>measurement locations representative<\/strong> of the area of influence of the project are identified, while<strong>Art. 5<\/strong> of the same decree establishes the general criteria for the <strong>containment of noise pollution<\/strong> during the operating phases of the plant.<\/p><p> <\/p><p><em>Transparency and environmental responsibility<\/em><\/p><p>The data acquired will be processed and validated according to the technical protocols provided for in the ministerial decree, ensuring <strong>transparency, traceability and scientific accuracy<\/strong>.<br>The results of the campaigns will form the basis for objectively assessing the possible acoustic contribution of the wind farm, ensuring that noise levels remain <strong>well within legal limits<\/strong> and compatible with the quality of life of local communities.<\/p><p>&#8220;Acoustic monitoring is a key part of our design approach,&#8221; <strong>Gecodor<\/strong> emphasizes. &#8220;Wind energy can and should coexist in harmony with the environment and people&#8217;s well-being.
